Accessories: The Burrell Wrist-Action^® Shaker

A Top Platform is the most versatile accessory you can add to a Shaker. With it, plus appropriate clamps and supports, you can process a wide variety of flasks, funnels and specimen jars. And do so without increasing bench space! Depending on the clamps selected, the Top Platform can accommodate from six 500 ml to ten 125 ml Erlenmeyer flasks... four 250 ml or two 500, 1000 or 2000 ml separatory funnels... or eight to sixteen specimen or sputum jars.

The Side-Arm Extension Clamp holds up to 3" diameter containers. Because these Clamps attach to adjustable extension rods that, in turn, go through the Side-Arm Shaft, you can simultaneously handle large flasks in less bench space by staggering the Clamp position closer to or further from the Shaft. A quick screw adjustment allows easy repositioning of the rod with Clamp.

Each Finger-Grip Clamp has a pair of three-prong, vinyl-sleeved grippers for handling vessels of almost any size or shape. Just slide the Clamp onto the Side-Arm Shaft and tighten the hex-head bolt to lock in place. Positioning along the Shaft is fully adjustable to accommodate a variety of vessel sizes and shapes at once.

Both regular and large-capacity Separatory Funnel Clamps are available for attachment to the Top Platform. With the regular clamps, the Top Platform holds up to four 250 ml vessels; with the large clamps, two vessels from 500 to 1000 ml. With the large clamp, you also get adjustable "C" rings to help achieve the funnel's optimal agitation angle.

SNAP-N-LOCK™ Bottle clamp - holds bottles 90mm High X 70mm Diameter. Secured with a clamping device that firmly grips the Jar. Generally limited to 8-bottles.

The easy to use Snap-N-Lock™ clamps will grip the vessel securely. Simply lift the red plastic coated lever handle rest the vessel in the machined adapter or bottom plate and Snap the red lever closed and press once more to Lock.
